So maybe it's an over reaction but when a assumedly legitimate newswoman like MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell reinforces the viewpoint of Princess Dumbass of the Northwoods(thanks Charlie P) by blithely interrupting her(Mitchell's) own ongoing interview about the NSA with the very knowledgeable Jane Harman to give us the breaking news that 19 year old Justin Bieber, Canada's talentless teen heartthrob gift to the US pop market has been arrested for being a DUI, drag racing, talentless teen heartthrob... well, lame stream might just be appropriate.

I don't know which is more painful, seeing the dissemination of news in America being relegated to the lowest common denominator or having to admit that Palin just could have a point, Meh!

"Of all the preposterous assumptions of humanity over humanity, nothing exceeds most of the criticisms made on the habits of the poor by the well-housed, well-warmed, and well-fed." Herman Melville

We interrupt this post

to let you know that One Direction has a new music video.

Sorry, Rick, but some things are more important than informing the American people about what's going on.
