Why Won't Joe McLaughlin Answer my Questions?

Cross-posted from the Brock Log.

Remember my one easy question?

Due to recent events regarding the U.S. Navy's plan for an Outlying Landing Field (two options are near Onslow County), I emailed Mr. McLaughlin to get his take.

My email:

Given the recent news that two sites that the US Navy is exploring for an outlying airfield are in/near Onslow County and that the US Navy has previously tried to build an outlying airfield in protected wetlands located in Washington County, many voters would like to hear your position.

Do you support an outlying airfield in the Hofmann Forest or Angola Bay areas near the borders of Onslow County? If yes, why? If no, why not?

I've received no response since sending the email three days ago.

In a separate email sent the same day, I asked about a calendar or schedule of Mr. McLaughlin's public appearances.

My request:

Is it possible to place a calendar on your website or to send with your Monday Morning Memo a schedule of your public appearances?

There are many interested voters that would like the opportunity see you speak and ask questions.

There's been no response to that question, either.

Do you have questions for Joe McLaughlin? You can email him at win@joeforcongress.com. Feel free to post your email and any answers here or here

Wouldn't Joe winning his primary be a good thing?

Depends, Sam...

If Joe wins the primary and receives the full backing of the Republican Party, no.

If Joe wins the primary and receives no backing from the Republican Party, AND Marshall Adame receives the full backing of the Democratic Party, yes.

Perhaps he can't read?

Just a suggestion. Or - if he can read, perhaps he's afraid to answer. You are asking some rather awkward questions - at least they could be awkward for him to answer.

I'm curious - have any other Democratic candidates emerged to run against Marshall in a primary at this point?

I'm pretty sure he can read...

It may be comprehension that he hasn't mastered...

Though, I can't imagine why he'd ignore my questions...It's not like any of my 3 readers at the Brock Log would vote for him anyway...And besides, 2 of the 3 aren't in the state!

There were rumors that Craig Weber was going to return, but I believe that's not going to happen. To my knowledge, no one else has mentioned interest.
