Weekend wound-up

Ha! You know what is on at my house

I couldn't bear to watch the end of the Carolina game. Hopefully, we'll play better tomorrow. Ems auditions for a dance academy at an arts school tomorrow and I don't know if we'll be back in time for the game. Yikes!

Vote Democratic! The ass you save may be your own.

Burr just doesn't care

When you think of electing a U.S. Senator to represent you, don’t you think of how they can serve the people of your state? Most people do, but what about the recent incident of Richard Burr, the Republican Senator from North Carolina?

Recently Senator Burr’s website contained absolutely NO information regarding constituent services. Virtually every elected representative, from the humble town mayor to members of the U.S. Congress and Senate list out the ways in which they seek to help the members they represent via the power those constituents have granted them. Is Richard Burr really brash enough to believe he doesn’t need to think about the millions of voters in the state of North Carolina? Elizabeth Dole lost her re-election campaign after not paying enough attention to the state. Senator Burr seems to be following in his former colleagues shoes.
