CLINTON TAKES DEBATE VICTORY LAP IN N.C. (U.S. News) -- – Riding high off her performance, Hillary Clinton regaled a crowd of supporters with her best debate moments during an energetic campaign stop in North Carolina. "I'm gonna leave it to the fact-checkers to go through all of Donald Trump's claims. There was a lot of work for fact-checkers last night," Clinton said to laughter. The event at Wake Technical Community College amounted to a victory lap for Clinton who made a point of keeping Trump's in the spotlight as well.

CONCERNS AND KUDOS AT WIND FARM HEARING (Outer Banks Sentinel) -- Most of a crowd of about 50 people who attended the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s (BOEM) public information session at Jennette's Pier on Sept. 21 voiced support for a proposed wind farm located 24 nautical miles from the N.C. coast, east of Kitty Hawk and Currituck County. But some expressed concerns about the possible impact on tourism, infrastructure, the economy and fishing.
