War on Christians

The Washington Post today reports a new hotspot in our troubled world. Not content with the War on Drugs, the War on Terrorism, the War on Christmas, the War on Marriage and the oh-so-popular War on Iraq, some of our nation's most powerful Christian leaders have declared that they are under attack in a new unholy War on Christians. And none other than your favorite gun-toting, money-laundering, bribe-taking, arm-twisting, lying sonofabitch Tom Delay is one of their main apostles and spokescrooks.

Keep going . . .

In a luncheon speech yesterday, DeLay took issue with the "chattering classes" who think there is no war on Christians.

"We are after all a society that abides abortion on demand, that has killed millions of innocent children, that degrades the institution of marriage and often treats Christianity like some second-rate superstition. Seen from this perspective, of course there is a war on Christianity," he said.

Methinks the scumbag Congressman is a bit confused. It's not about Christianity being a second-rate superstition. It's about Tom Delay being a first-rate asshole.

PS I can't wait to see if Chuck Taylor jumps on the War on Christians bandwagon with his buddy Tom.

To all my Christian friends . . .

I'm sorry you have to share your religion with people like Mr. Delay. I don't know if it's enough to make Jesus cry, but it sure breaks my heart.

Not Another Holy War

I sometimes wonder if God gets ticked off about having so many false claims made in his name. I'm thinking they keep this crap up they will find out just what a holy war is.

Gotta correct you though. He's not gun toting...got his concealed weapons permit yanked. hehehe

Vote Democratic! The ass you save may be your own.

He did get his permit yanked, and he's trying to get it back. Maybe God'll give it to him if he asks nice enough?

I Cannot Stand This

The White Christians of this country have been persecuted for so long. We should create a national christian religion so that we can throw people that do not believe with us in jail.

To Paraphrase John Stewart,

How long must we wait for this nation to have a white, Christian man as President?
