Still think guns in bars are a good idea?

BlueNC readers might recall that our extremist legislature, always on the lookout to appease gun manufacturers, passed a law this past July allowing concealed handguns in bars and restaurants where alcohol is served and college campuses.

Apparently upset that he was unable to grope a stripper, a customer at Gaston's Leather and Lace strip club decided to exercise his 2nd amendment rights.

That’s when Chavez allegedly walked to his truck, picked up a .40-caliber Beretta handgun and began firing at the building. Police reports said that Chavez ran out of ammunition or the gun jammed, so he went back to his truck for a 9 mm Taurus handgun, and fired at least seven more shots at the nightclub. Two more shots were reportedly fired as Chavez drove away.

A total of at least 13 shots were fired in the building.

We're lucky no one was killed or injured. This time.

Why is it

that the NC GOP wants guns everywhere except in their NCGA offices on Jones Street? Shouldn't they be afforded the same "protection" as the rest of us?
