So....I'm Going to Meet the President Today

I just got off the phone with my friend and we're set to meet Bill Clinton today. We'll meet the motorcade and get our pictures taken. I might even have a chance to ask a question.

Here's your chance to help me figure out what that question might be.

Pretend you are still undecided. What is the one thing you would want to know about a future Hillary Clinton presidency? What is the one question you want asked that would help you make your decision?

Comments

What about labor?

Will they really embrace labor and make it strong in America again?

Wow...that's a good question

...and I bet it's one they don't usually get.

....of course, I was being serious.......

That didn't keep me from wondering just how he would choose to decorate the White House Christmas tree.

The overall economy.

I know it's a question they get all the time, but I want to know if they've put a list together of who they'll try to bring into the Administration to help fix what's broke here, cut off the arterial bleed in Iraq, and rebuild the safety net for all us little guys who are going to feel the most pain.

Always the same with me...

How much emphasis would Hillary place on ending poverty?

"Keep the Faith"

"Keep the Faith"

nevermind

From MSNBC

From NBC's Andrea Mitchell
NBC News has learned that in her remarks today, Clinton will call for a cabinet-level "poverty czar," apparantly similar to what the King family has been requesting.
Here's an excerpt from Clinton's expected remarks:
"When I say solutions, I mean finally addressing the scourge of poverty that continues to afflict so many of our families in this country. I mean appointing a cabinet level position that will be solely and fully devoted to ending poverty as we know it in America, a position that will focus the attention of our nation on this issue. That's the kind of solution I'm talking about, a solution for which Dr. King's son, Martin, has been such a passionate and effective advocate."

"Keep the Faith"

"Keep the Faith"

Edwards?

Is that supposed to be an incentive for an Edwards endorsement? Obviously, Edwards would be a top choice for that kind of position.

I'll write them all down and take them with me

I need to run go get spiffy. It's chilly and rainy and I don't know how long we'll have to wait outside.

Coalition Building

How would they work to create a progressive majority in this country to accomplish lasting change?

Can you ask

Bill, that when Obama wins North Carolina, will the Clinton campaign tell the nation that North Carolina is just another state that doesn't count(as they have for a laundry list of other states past primaries they didn't win)???

Thanks.

Oh well

Reckon I'd have had to gone myself to tell Bill that I, along with mostly everyone I know of, think that Hillary's campaign has been deplorable.

...Hows that for n/t????

n/t means no text

the site requires something be in the comment box, so sometimes people just write n/t

Ask Bill about the 109

Ask Bill about the 109 million bucks they have piled up! I find it hysterically funny and downright obvious that :

the day the returns come out showing the 109 million bucks they have piled up she calls for a "poverty" czar and how obvious she is pandering to John Edwards endorsement before the primary here by indicating she will have a cabinet level "poverty czar"..... John..dude hold out for AG in the winners cabinet...Obama in 09!

How will Hillary

garnish support from the GOP side when so many people flat out despise her over there? You can soften up the question, but the crux of the question is how will she get over that hatred for her?

Well, I guess I am a decided. I have decided there is no way I would vote for her. Her last escapade about snipers everywhere and then oooo, my bad.

You do not forget about being shot at, or having to run down the tarmac for fear of your life due to snipers targeting you. She has show she will fabricate stories. She is just as bad as bush with his stories about WMD. They both are trying to convince people to rally behind them in support of their agenda. Hillary is no better then bush, thanks to that stupid move.

Bush was at least smart enough to fabricate his stories after he got in the oval office. Hillary aint that smart, it appears.

But still, the question of how she will override the hatred of the GOP is appropriate. How will she get that side to work with her?

You might think about this for a moment

Bush was at least smart enough to fabricate his stories after he got in the oval office.

First it would be ROve who was smart enough ....

Second, Bush fabricated everything about himself prior to running for governor and as a presidential candidate - seved his country honorably in the National Guard, successful businessman, cowboy from Texas, Houston's educational success, ad nauseum.

And McCain, Mr. Straight talk, Mr. Stands on Principles, sucked up to that phony sob (and others)even after Bush sucker punched him in 2000 in South Carolina.
