Romney is Bringing Sexy Back

Did y'all see this article in the Nation? http://www.thenation.com/blogs/campaignmatters?bid=45

Here's the good bit, from official Romney campaign literature:

In this media-driven age, Romney begins with a decisive advantage. First, he has sensational good looks. People magazine named him one of the 50 most beautiful people in America. Standing 6 feet, 2 inches tall, Romney has jet-black hair, graying naturally at the temples. Women -- who will play a critical role in this coming election -- have a word for him: hot.

Um

Women -- who will play a critical role in this coming election -- have a word for him: hot.

Word to the republicans: C'mere. [smack] Intelligent women aren't looking for a president to sleep with, thank you very much. We're looking for someone with the vision and integrity to lead us out of the darkness we're in now. Light glint off of Mitt's shiny white teeth, but it's only the reflection of the flashbulb. I think that might be the only brightness there.

Now I'm going to go read the Nation article.

Saw this at Kos

and haven't had a chance to read the Nation article yet. Thanks for the link and I agree with my two cohorts above.

Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.

Vote Democratic! The ass you save may be your own.

Last night I watched the rerun of Countdown with Keith Olbermann

They showed a clip of Romney sucking up to Pat Robertson and the graduates of Regent University Law School. The school that Robertson founded so that he could get the laws, and ultimately, the Constitution, changed to fit his version of Christianity.

Of course, it's a free country, and it's Romney's choice of where he speaks, but in my eyes that took a even more of the "sexy" away.
