Privette to Daves: Screw You.....but I'm willing to pay

Heh heh....Robin Hayes' boy, Coy, has flipped his finger at Linda Daves and most of the other Republicans in the area according to the CharO. You'll recall yesterday I mentioned that Daves had sent Privette a letter asking him to resign his elected position.

Coy has declined.

The NCGOP released Daves' letter. In it she said:

"Despite your many years of service to the people of Cabarrus County and the Republican Party, your behavior has severed a public trust, and you have sacrificed the privilege to represent the people of North Carolina," Daves wrote.

"Your confessed conduct is dishonorable to yourself, your family, the people you represent, and our Party. ... We entrust the leaders in our Party to uphold high ethical standards, and your failure to do so has brought disgrace and dishonor to the entire community."

Apparently, Coy disagrees. Good for him. We need to keep his sorry ass around so that we can link him to every other Republican in the area. The same goes for Almond and Boylan. Almond may be gone, but let's not forget him.

Hmmm...this gives me an idea.

Do y'all remember the "House for Sale" signs that Ferrell Blount had printed to try and use Jim Black's mess against other NC House Dems in this state? Well, I have an idea for a sign of our own, but I don't have time today to photoshop it. Anyone who does have time and wants to play with the theme - NCGOP, House of ill repute - give it a go. I'll try to have something by Monday or Tuesday and we can pick our favorite - or just use them all. It will be fun to have a graphic to use to decorate our posts.

Happy Saturday, Y'all.

Emily and I had fun

Displaying the Jim Black "Democrat" [sic] Realty sign when Babs and Ken put their place on the market.

Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.

Vote Democratic! The ass you save may be your own.

Republican house of ill repute. I'll have to work on that one with my resident photoshop wizard.

Be the change you wish to see in the world. --Gandhi

If we're going to be disgusted by their Hypocrisy

we might as well use it to our advantage.

Here's another idea......

NCGOP - Broken Family Values
NCGOP - Immoral Majority
Coy Privette's "Christians Looking for Action League"

Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.

Vote Democratic! The ass you save may be your own.

And all Hell broke loose in Cabarrus County against the Devil

Here's another idea....*BM

A Cabarrus County blog, is organizing a citizens protest outside the commissioners' meeting on Sept. 17th.* Hack off citizens in Cabarrus County

It's simple to remove the Pervert.

Show up for the Commissioners meeting and when Coy opens his mouth. Start shouting "PERVERT" "PERVERT" "PERVERT" and watch the meeting go to hell with Coy heading for the back door....

I like this one

NCGOP - Immoral Majority

Well, I don't like it, but I think it's most suitable to the situation.

"They took all the trees and put them in a tree museum Then they charged the people a dollar 'n a half just to see 'em. Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got till it's gone? They paved paradise and put up a parking lot."

Poor Coy, I wonder when the US will legalize prostituion like every other western democracy? This would be a non-issue even in the very Catholic Costa Rica where prostitution is legal as long as the woman doesnt have a pimp.

Given our love of state-sponsored gambling

it's hard to make the case that other so-called "vices" should be off-limits. Indeed, we should elevate these vices (drugs, prostitution, gambling & drinking (already there)) to government revenue streams by legalizing them - and then taxing them with gusto.

It would still be an issue

Cy Privette made it an issue with his Christian Action League holier than thou hypocrisy. He preached against it and then went and did it himself. It isn't the legal status of prostitution that makes this a story.

Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.

Vote Democratic! The ass you save may be your own.

Wonder if Bev or Richard are Legalizers?

I wonder if Bev or Richard will put on the Issues section of their campaign web sites that they support creating revenue streams by taxing and regulating prostitution and soft drugs (cannabis)?

I suspect that this will remain a taboo topic in the '08 races as Dems will once again be afraid to discuss anything considered too controversial.
