One voice

I wanted to make sure that all of you saw this video that Bill Faison's campaign put out today.

I don't like when folks just cut and paste too much of an email that most have already received, but the theme of this video and this email is "One Voice."

As Jerry puts it, now is the time for elected officials and activists to work together, and make sure that Democratic values are heard in our state.

As the Republicans are already proving, they might let us talk, but they are going to push their radical agenda through as quickly as they possibly can. It doesn't matter to them that they were elected because of a bad economy (that their friends in DC created). Now is their chance to repeal all of the work that all of us have spent decades working on.

I hope that you will join me and join Jerry and vote for Bill on Saturday at the SEC meeting in Raleigh.

More importantly, I hope that all of you will be there on Sunday morning, and every day after that. I firmly believe that we have one chance to win back our state. If we don't take things back in 2011 and 2012, we may not have the ability to make policy in this state for decades.
