Interview Questions for Anthony Foxx, Democratic candidate for Charlotte Mayor

Those of us who have grown up or lived in Charlotte have experienced first hand the disdain the rest of the state feels towards Charlotte. In recent years Mayor Pat McCrory has done everything in his power to exacerbate the problems.

For the first time in many years, Democrats in Charlotte are fielding an exciting candidate who has pledged to work to repair the damaged relationship Charlotte has with Raleigh and the rest of the state.

Anthony Foxx has agreed to answer some questions posed by the BlueNC community. Now is a chance for those of you outside of Charlotte to ask questions of her next mayor. As with my interview with Kenneth Lewis, I might not have time to ask more than a few, but I will try to get to as many as possible.

Anthony is extremely qualified and he has a vision for Charlotte that should benefit the rest of the state. A healthy Charlotte means more money for Raleigh to spread to other communities across North Carolina. Charlotte needs a mayor who realizes this.

What questions do you have for Anthony Foxx?
