Sounds like a fun event

From what I've heard he sounds like a great candidate & I look forward to a time when he might officially toss his hat into the ring. I'd love to see him do a interview/Q&A w/ Betsy, or some kind of live blog event on BlueNC if his schedule allows.

Keep us posted if he makes it to Chapel Hill for an event, I'd love to hear him speak!

I don't know if he will come yet but

I have it on good advice that ALL candidates who would like the chance to kick some Burr butt next year will be invited to speak at the PDNC annual convention in Raleigh in September.

Sounds like a good time and for once

the price isn't over the top. Thank goodness Democrats understand there is a depression going on. ;-)

I moved last year from Guilford County to Wake. The group there is great. I hope the dinner is filled to max capacity.

North Carolina. Turning the South Blue!

Wonderful night at Amalfi's in Kernersville

We had about 25 people; about half an hour of socializing before we sat down to dinner. Somehow I was lucky enough to be seated next to Cal. I found him to be a very engaging speaker and intent listener when others spoke. The depth and breadth of topics he talked about were impressive.

After dinner we went out to a private screened porch area were Cal spoke to the group and answered questions for almost 2 hours.
