John D and not John boy of fuzzy Pope thinking

As the former roomate and schoolmate of John Dean at a military
prep school early in my life, I can tell you people a million
stories about John and his career to glory and failure in
the inner cicles of republican politics. John is a good guy
and a great legal constitutional lawyer now. Bruce is another
little politicial whore and whinner for the repubs at any price for

Many years ago! John was on a campus tour to colleges giving his view
of Watergate after doing time at Allentown Club Fed. I slipped
off to hear his lecture to the college kids when it was in
my area at the time. During the Q& A after the lecture, I ask him
what was the most intense moment and the reality of Watergate during
his time.
He said when he and the 5 other Whitehouse convicted felons
reported to the Allentown dentention center together for
processing. They were put into a holding cell together with
their suits still on and personal belonging while the feds
got ready to process them into the prison. As they were sitting
on the steel bunks, John ask the others what they had common in
this mess. The others mutter answers that did not match up
with other answers when John said " We are all lawyers and how
in the hell did a cell full of lawyers get into this

So how many lawyers are involved with the Pope Foundation?

It'll be interesting to look back on this

shitstorm ten years from now and see who went to jail. My bet is they all skate. Like Weinberger and Oliver North skated. Rich white guys breaking laws and getting away scot free. There will be a few Abramoff's and Cunningham's taken down, but the big crooks will stand.

To be king or a lawyer is the question?

That is why the Federal supreme court appointments are so important1

The big boys always slip away with the legal loopholes, except
Kings who somehow get their head chopped off every once in while
in history. Tom Paine was right!

Shakespear stole this comment from ancient Rome.

"When we seize power in Rome, the first thing we do is murder the
lawyers and Julius Caesar"* Cicero

" Wait a minute Senator Cicero! Aren't you a lawyer?"* Brutus

" Fool Brutus! Don't you remember they disbar me and ban me
to a 3 rd rate persian kingdom in Turkey with no gold"
