A few days ago, BlueNC had the misfortune to be visited by one of the right wing's most dependable stooges and lapdogs, Mr. Nathan Tabor, from right here in North Carolina. You can say all the crappy things you want about young Nate, but give him credit for being great at one thing: shameless self-promotion. Here's what he writes about himself in the cesspool he calls a website:

In 2004, Nathan ran for Congress (NC5) in an eight way primary. He raised over $750,000 and received over 7,500 votes in the most expensive primary in American history. Nathan's supporters included Dick Armey, Ed Meese, Steve Moore, Art Laffer, Pat Robertson, Bob Jones III, Congressman Robert Aderholt, Congressman Trent Franks, Congressman Jim Ryun, Beverly and Tim LaHaye, Mike Farris and many others. Dr. Jerry Falwell dubbed him the "young Jesse Helms."

Imagine what kind of ego would allow someone to brag about being associated with racists, wackos, homophobes and worse! Which brings me to the point of this blog entry. You see, among the many columnists swimming in Nathan Tabor's sewer is Ms. Ann Coulter, the frightwing's indisputable Queen of Slime, a woman so offensive that a sane person will get sick simply reading through the garbage and hate she spews. So why does little Nate, Bible-thumping Christian that he professes to be, continue to feature the devil-witch on his very own conservative site? God only knows.

So Nate ...

What's up with you and Ann? Does your mother know about this?

I'm glad you posted this

It will be fun to contact the people on that list and ask them about their support for Nathan when he finally melts down and says what he's really thinking in public.

Jees...

you're killing me with that picture! And so close to dinner time, too.

Anglico is the pot calling the kettle "Jim" Black

Anglico wrote, "Imagine what kind of ego would allow someone to brag about being associated with racists, wackos, homophobes and worse!"

Indeed, Anglico. Wasn't it you who were bragging about accepting banner advertisement money from racist crackpot and left wing-nut loon "progressive" Democrat Rachel Lea Hunter.

If one is to be guilty by association, then it is time you serve your sentence. Four-more years of Mike Easley/Jim Black/Marc Basnight good-ole boy network controlled state guv'ment for you! No more invites up to Ayr Mount for drunken brawls with Jim Hunt!

You really need to seek help...

this Rachel Hunter fetish is unhealthy.

Jesus Swept ticked me off. Too short. I loved the characters and then POOF it was over.

Connie Mack Berry, Jr. - CENSORED -

MEBANE, NC - Left-wing blog dedicated to bashing Art Pope, BlueNC.com, attempted to distance itself from the political lightning-rod and controversial NC Supreme Court Candidate, Rachel Lea Hunter.

In a thread dedicated to Nathan Tabor and Anne Coulter, bloggers pointed out that BlueNC.com had accepted banner advertisement money from the Rachel Lea Hunter campaign. "Anglico" (a.k.a. Jim Protzman), a BlueNC.com regular and owner, posted an entry denegrating Tabor:

"Imagine what kind of ego would allow someone to brag about being associated with racists, wackos, homophobes and worse!", said Protzman.
Another blogger pointed out that Protzman failed to mention his very own blog, BlueNC.com, had receieved funding from Rachel Lea Hunter. Hunter's candidacy for NC Supreme Court has been repudiated by both the NC Democratic Party and NC Republican Party due to her racially charged, bigoted rhetoric.

In light of Hunter's affiliation with BlueNC.com becoming known, an immediate non-comprehendable response from husband and campaign manager of Rachel Lea Hunter, Mr. Connie Mack Berry, Jr., was posted on the blog. Berry jumped to the defense of the embattled "Anglico" while making sharp personal attacks against Nathan Tabor.

Realizing that Berry's and Hunter's association with BlueNC.com had been exposed, Lance McCord, BlueNC.com moderator and co-owner, deleted all comments in an effort to hide his site's affiliation with the controversial candidate for NC Supreme Court and to change the focus of the thread away from the facts about Protzman's involvement in the Hunter campaign. To that end, ALL of Connie Mack Berry's postings were removed.

This latest move against the Hunter campaign is seemingly yet another slap in the face from fellow "progressive" Democrats.

My daddy always told me

never to argue with idiots or assholes. You seem to qualify as both. And though I rarely took his advice when he was alive, I'm trying to do better now that he's gone.

I personally deleted two and only two posts from BlueNC yesterday, both of which passed our test of being "intolerably obnoxious." I assume one of them was from you. Neither commenter, however, was a registered user at BlueNC, and neither deserves any further explanation about my actions.

Fact Checking Is Not a Strong Point on the Right

I've done some checking, and the two comments — and there were exactly two comments — that were deleted by an admin were offensive (in a way that involved poop and sex and degradation all at the same time).

As for taking money from the Hunter Campaign, BlueNC accepted and ran an add long before Rachel was repudiated from the left and right for her racist comments about another political candidate. Our efforts to construct a time travel device having met with no success (yet!), we are unable to change this fact.

Finally, I didn't delete anything. I'm not sure how much that matters—I have deleted offensive comments in the past and will do so again in the future. But it's another made up "fact" that could easily have been corrected if the author had made even a rudimentary effort to get the story straight. <sarcasm>We at BlueNC are shocked—shocked—to learn that a conservative author would just make something up in the service of selling a lie.</sarcasm>.

Honestly Nate, You Need Help

This is bad. You obviously have more venom than intelligence. But why you insist on spreading this garbage here is beyond me. Obviously you must not think much of your comment since you did not post it under your name, but your style and ego give away your identity.

Legislature just gave $100 Million

for mental health. I suggest you avail yourself of their services.
