Candidate "Season"

I've been pretty much an onlooker for a long time now here at BlueNC. Reasoning? Just because I decided some of the intra-partisan ignorance being spouted by one of the lead posters here was beyond what I could continue to support.

That issue has seemed to resolve itself for me personally, and for the betterment of this blog and the community that supports it. I've read here a lot and posted very little, but I've seen this place grow. I've also witnessed the Primary Season create another spate of intra-partisan ignorance being spouted by some of the posters here.

Why?

Ask yourself that question. Is it because YOUR candidate is SO MUCH better than the other candidate? Is it because you have a personal vendetta against another candidate, so you just HAVE to be all about being against them personally? Is it because you feel one of the candidates have a better message that moves forward your personal agenda?

Or something else? Ask yourself, and do yourself a favor. Don't lie to YOU.

We need to send some people packing in NC right now. It isn't a good year for Democrats, and you all realize this, right? Because if you don't, what your intra-partisan infighting will get you is a lot of the same ignorant jackasses voted back into office.

Think before you type. It is something that took me years to understand.

It is not Democratic "Candidate Season." Grow up and make the connection.

Only you can prevent Richard Burr from becoming a Second Term Senator. That BURR could become a Second Term Senator should be chilling enough for you to stop negatively beating up on OUR candidates and start positively pushing for your preferred candidate.

Whomever wins in our process of Democratic candidate primary voting gets my vote. In the meantime, whomever continues the negativity towards any of OUR candidates is just one more link in the chain of six more year of Chill for our State.

You do see that, don't you?

It isn't easy

We all want to back "the winner."

Now, consider that the winner is the Democratic Candidate that defeats Richard Burr, Virginia Foxx, Sue Myrick, etc.

Do the right thing for the people of North Carolina, OK?

North Carolina. Turning the South Blue!

Love this part

The primary is getting closer and closer and emotions about favorite candidates are getting more and more heated here. We originally agreed (mostly everyone, not everyone) to keep the negativism to a minimum and to present positives for our favorite candidates for U.S. Senate rather than making this a "bash board". Sadly, it seems that it is becoming a "bash board", doesn't it?

I like what you've said:

Whomever wins in our process of Democratic candidate primary voting gets my vote. In the meantime, whomever continues the negativity towards any of OUR candidates is just one more link in the chain of six more year of Chill for our State.

Nice, and appropriate.

There is right and there is wrong

The Right is wrong and WE know it.

Come together, my friends. For all of us. Even those that don't know it.

North Carolina. Turning the South Blue!

Glad to have you back

... and sorry for whatever I may have done to push you away.
