Toxic Amendments update: The biggest power grab of them all?

This is a rather long but very important thread:

Yeah, I don't trust them not to take advantage if this, either. They've proven (time and time again) that anything that "appears to be" legal, albeit unethical as hell, is fair game. And they've also proven that hijacking bills with controversial add-ons, or even just re-writing entire bills that happened to make it past the crossover date, is now standard operating procedure.

There's simply no trust left to be given.
