After dark

This video is a whole concert, found on Ruby Sinreich's Facebook page. It's as sweet as it gets.

(Free Man in Paris (around 16:00) is especially nice.)

Love Joni Mitchell

Never was much for folk music, but Joni crossed over every genre barrier back in the day when noise was the hot thing. That voice could take you from the sourest of moods and make you appreciate all the little things around you. Magic.

That's what I loved about this video

It's a whole concert. There are a few weird things thrown in, but mostly it's just good old fashioned Joni. Amazing music.

That was Rock'n'Roll, man.

None of us who remember the Mouseketeers, and then the 60's and 70's will ever make that mistake. Peter, Paul and Mary were folk music, Joni Mitchell rocks. Her music is complex, but it is rock'n'roll without a doubt. Great video.

ps- 'Free Man in Paris" is at 15:16, my total favorite Joni of all time.

Joni has always defied conventional labels. She's just Joni.
