Acosta has resigned as Secretary of Labor


Two things at play here:

First, Trump is the archetypal narcissist; he is the expert on everything, and doesn't need to be "guided" by anybody. Missing advisors aren't really "missed," if you catch my drift. And because he's a fucking idiot, people either take the fall for him or he pushes them out in an effort to cover his own ass. After 2 1/2 years of that, ain't nobody "lining up" to take any of those positions.

Second, he is really bad at choosing people for positions of authority. Not only does he value loyalty way more than competence, he has taken Kakistocracy to breathtaking new levels, never before seen in government. But these Departments have been in place for decades, and trying to tear them down is an exhausting exercise. Thank god.
