1st Question: What's the best way to mobilize Young Democrats?

5 questions. Twenty interviews.

This little listening exercise was conceived to pose a few questions and fit nicely into a beautiful little box right here on the interweb, but as the Young Democrats of Forsyth County soiree last night wore on, and as the interviewees refused to encapsulate their thoughts into five word responses, I realized that I was going to have to switch up the format.

So now we're going to have 5 little films. Each between 3 and 4 minutes. Each addressing a single question of interest to everyone here.

The questions (on which Jerimee and I collaborated) are as follows:

1) What's the best way to mobilize young Democrats in North Carolina?
2) Where do you get political news from?
3) What's the best way to win an election in North Carolina?
4) What's your "big issue"?
5) What are the races you're paying attention to and who do you like?

First Question:

Featuring 5th district Congressional candidate Roy Carter and my old middle school Assistant Principal and current State House Representative from the fighting 71st, the indomitable honorable Larry Womble (as well as some certifiably young Democrats).

More to come!

Note: It's Claudia Shivers not Claudia Shovers.

Wonderful insight

I'm in the process of chartering a YD group here in Cabarrus County, and this was a wonderful opportunity to see and hear the thoughts of both existing young dems, and the people we support. I want more!

Holy Moly

Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.

Vote Democratic! The ass you save may be your own.
