Weekend wound up

That is VERY damn good news, Stan

Thanks for letting us know. I'm very happy for you - and Nan! I don't imagine you'd be very warm and fuzzy in the patient department.

:)

Yay Stan!

I'm so happy to hear the news. I'm hope you and Nan will have a wonderfully relaxing weekend to celebrate.

Thanks Betsy...and it will be as relaxing as it currently gets

at our home. Some of you know my father has lived with us for about six years. He will be 92 in August. His health has declined over the past 8 months and as of a few weeks ago he entered hospice care in our home. It gets a little ragged for us now and again because he has some body function control problems. It has been our hope and goal that he could die at home where it is at least bright and cheery and our cats stop in to love on him and keep him company round-the-clock.

Sometimes I look over at the scotch bottle and think I'll just put a nipple on it. :-)

Hugs, smiles and such

If I ever see you walking around pulling an IV poll around I'll have my doubts about what's in the bag. :D

I'm sure your Dad is happier spending his final days in your home and as hard as it is, it will be worth it. I hope he has some peaceful days ahead.

Best to you, Stan!

Always glad to see 'good' results on cancer testing. Lately, we have seen some of our friends getting bad results. And terrific that you'll be nearby for Dad!

Happy Birthday Nelson Mandela...

At 91, still inspiring us mere human beings to call upon our better angels.

"They took all the trees and put them in a tree museum Then they charged the people a dollar 'n a half just to see 'em. Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got till it's gone? They paved paradise and put up a parking lot."
