Comparing their situation to that of come-from-behind racehorse, Seabiscuit, Elizabeth Edwards introduced her husband to an enthusiastic mob of supporters at an historic mill in Manchester, NH early this morning, just hours after the Senator's second-place finish in Iowa.

I took a few moments off from helping out behind the scenes to snap these two photos. Couldn't get close to the Senator but did get the chance to witness Elizabeth greeting supporters by the mill's exit. They didn't need Elizabeth's handshake, thanks or hug to head out into the minus 6 degree morning. They were already fired up and ready to go to bat door-to-door for the man some of them got up at 2 a.m. to drive from New Jersey to celebrate with and campaign for.

No one wanted to pass up a chance to meet his wife and clearly people respond to the sincerity of his family. But it's the the depth of the Senator's ideas and plans for the working people of America that continue to fuel an amazing amount of volunteer hours for a campaign that has steadfastly refused lobbyist influence and money bags.

When you look at the spending totals it's an amazing accomplishment to have edged out the well-oiled Clinton machine. And just as stunning to have finished in the running behind a campaign that outspent him four or five to one.

I've napped for a few hours and will head back to the grindstone shortly. I'm having an amazing experience in New Hampshire. No time to say more but I highly encourage anyone to join the process, head up here or start thinking about South Carolina. This is the time to make your impact on the electoral process. Just do it. Don't let the media and lobbyists pick our next president.
