Hubby and I will be there

how many more BlueNCers plan on attending?

No matter that patriotism is too often the refuge of scoundrels. Dissent, rebellion, and all-around hell-raising remain the true duty of patriots.

Progressive Discussions

If at least 10 BlueNC'ers attend, then ...

... I will publicly and personally recognize that plucky band during the dinner program. To count towards the 10 you'll need to email me and identify yourself at the door. ... This way, we can spread further the news about "the people's think tank" ... and particularly highlight you among folks who live in the Eighth Congressional District where our Number One goal is to send Robin Hayes packing!

Additional special guests who will attend on Nov 8 ....

Insurance Commissioner Jim Long

Sen. Janet Cowell, Democratic candidate for State Treasurer

State Representative Pryor Gibson

Judge Kristin Ruth, candidate for NC Court of Appeals

Though elected officials and candidates are special guests, you can be a special guest too ... Just let me know if you're planning to attend. Melanie's re-election kick-off reception at the historic Hamlet Train Depot is 5 pm til 6:15 or so, and then the Richmond County Democratic Party's Morrison Deane Goodman Rally & Dinner starts at 6:30 pm at American Legion Post 49 in Hamlet. All candidates and officials will have a chance to speak at the dinner.

Don't forget TODAY's Democratic Rally in Richmond County ...

... the HEART of the 8th Congressional District!

I hope we'll have a number of BlueNC'ers who will make the trip. (See above for details.) Not only will Speaker Joe Hackney be the keynote speaker, but other BlueNC posters such as Larry Kissell, Rep. Melanie Wade Goodwin, Rep. Tricia Cotham, Pat Smathers, Dan Besse, Jerry Meek, yours truly, et al., will be there to speak and rally the troops.

Hamlet is less than 2 hours from Raleigh and Charlotte, an hour-45 from Chapel Hill, approx 90 minutes from Greensboro ...

We need YOU there!
