Jesus Swept ticked me off. Too short. I loved the characters and then POOF it was over.

How cool!

I've never seen this before.

If you missed Elizabeth on Hardball tonight, here's the clip:

I did miss it.

Today is my daughter's birthday. Everyone just got to sleep, so I'm all ready for the debate!

Nobody can commit

Embassies don't count. Of course we'll have soldiers there.

Yeah, there is a real change in tone.

Gravel makes a good point about Lieberman.

Gravel looks and sounds saner tonight

than usual:
Sam with Fmr. Sen. Mike Gravel (D-Alaska)

Gotta love Hillary's laugh, though.

The Iraq exchange makes the top three look bad

Dodd, Biden, and even Kucinich are looking better on Iraq tonight, but it sure looked like MSNBC set it up that way.

All I see is blank space. :(

Oh well. Guess I'll have another beer.

OK

Now I see it - and hear it! How cool is that! (It was just my internet connection being weird.

I see all kinds of possibilities with this thing. I can use it for work, too, I think. Maybe.

What a great concept, Robert

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I wish I had a webcam. I guess I could use my regular camera but I was too lazy. It was super cool though. It's got my mind buzzing with possibilities!

I have to say in this last video, you seem pretty sad and depressed. Is that because you are tired or because you were discouraged by the debate (as you indicated in your comments)?

I agreed with you at the relative shallowness of the thoughts on Iraq. When you think that people were fired for decrying the lack of post-invasion planning, it seems odd that years later there still is really no post-invasion/post-occupation planning. I think it's because there is so little chance that any plan we could think of would actually work.

I recently saw a book for WWII soldiers in Iraq and it basically said "Leave the Sunni/Shiite debate alone. You have no hope of helping a situation that's been festering for hundreds and hundreds of years." Government should read it's own guidelines, eh?
