UPDATED: New map to Puppetshow!

Veteran BlueNC readers know the Art Pope Puppetshow, but some of our more recent visitors have emailed me, wondering what the heck it's about. Well, I'm happy to provide this latest map to the Show, as well as a few choice links to give you a good flavor for how it works.

Just think, if your daddy had left you a fortune, you could have your own Puppetshow, too. You could get yourself a hold of some state legislators, a newspaper or two, a S'preme Court judge, and maybe even a candidate for governor! All for the small price of only $300,000 a month. To my knowledge.

Nice A, very nice

Glad to see you have the hairdresser in the line-up. Did you see in the comments on the story about McHenry's aide, where they referenced the illegal votes in Moore County too. Seems to be a "trend" in the puppetshow.

Thank you dear.

I'm sure I've only covered a couple of rings of the many-ring circus, but at least it's a start. There are plenty more legislators who should be added to the show, but my Googly skills are on the blink lately.

If anyone has things to add, send 'em along.

Mr Chairman! The Following Chart shows the Mob authority order!

Why do I feel I am before a Senate subcommittee on GOP Mafia crime pecking order in North Carolina?

Senator Blowhard: Mr Pope! Remember anything you say before this committee can be held against you.

Mr Pope: Mr Chairman! I plead the 5 th and frankly I will have your job soon.

What have I left out, Max?

You've been sniffing around the Puppetshow WAY longer than I have. I'm sure I'm missing something big. For example, I probably need a whole 'nother page for Variety Stores . . . right?

And then there's the revisionist history organization to celebrate the Many Accomplishments of Rich Old White Men . . . can't remember the name of that one . . .

So many sideshows . . . so little time.

Now over here on the Chart! We see Art screwing a goat!

What have I left out, Max?* Anglico

You got about 80 % of the evil empire on record or the chart. You do understand that I will have to kill you should you find the rest in the interest of National Security?

Yep! And they keep leaving poison bones out in front of the Pope Corporate doghouse. The family foundation is the cash flow cow along with the neo-con corporate oil backdoor donations.

It use to be call the Klan in the old days. Now they are nice old white guy establishment types in Black suits and power lunch red ties.

So many sideshows . . . so little time.*Anglico

You got that right! Wait until you run into the secret society weird stuff with the Pope cult poltical machine. You will be drawing lines and dots to every known political Orwellian landmark on the planet.

One of those revisionist organizations

is the League of the South. I won't dignify them with a referrer link from here, but it's readily available with a googly search. I've come close to a few of them, and they scare hell outta me. They've infested a few historical organizations and are present in not a few local governments in most of the southern states. The few that don't vote Republican, vote Constitution Party. In short, they, along with the Dobsonites, have the specific goal of destroying the Constitution and replacing it with a theocratic plutocracy. With them, it's all about power and money for themselves and screw anyone else. Some folks never left the plantation. This is another bunch who live their lives trying to rebuild Tara and send the rest of us back to a time that never was.

This is perfect, A.

I, too, was pleased to see Moore County's own hairdresser and pope-puppet pictured in your chart. We've got to get on the map somehow, yes?

Rich Old White Men

I've always reversed the order of the words a little - and called them White Old Rich Men - or WORMs. It works for me.

And Momo -

Did you see in the comments on the story about McHenry's aide, where they referenced the illegal votes in Moore County too. Seems to be a "trend" in the puppetshow.

Perhaps with this indictment, and the indigestion bubbling in the bowels of the justice department over voter fraud cases that weren't pursued, we'll see some action taken. What do you think?

Very Timely

In today's Pilot, Boylan gets taken to task a couple of times in LTE's for his vote on the restaurant smoking ban.

The first letter throws in his connection to the Puppetshow too.

Rep. Boylan's vote is another example of sacrificing the greater good in exchange for repayment of a debt. The John William Pope Civitas Institute played a significant role, partnering with the tobacco industry, to defeat the proposed bill.

Rep. Boylan owes a significant debt to the Civitas Institute for its support in defeating former Rep. Richard Morgan. The public deserves better justification for a no-vote than repayment of a debt.

The second criticizes his faulty logic for opposing it and laments his not being the "different" kind of representative he said he was going to be.

Hairdresser Joe is taking a beating in the Pilot.

and it looks like criminal complaints were brought against his campaign, too. From the North Carolina Conservative:

I voted legally in Moore County, but my vote did not count because it was canceled out by illegal votes. I do not know how many illegal votes were cast, but I know that these two were illegal. I am not protesting their votes...I am informing the Board of Elections and the Moore County District Attorney of a crime that has been committed. The money was spent to bring in temporary "residents", and these individuals were "induced" to vote illegally in violation of 163.275(7) and (13), both felonies.

The Lockies on global warming

Yesterday, I received the monthly Locke propaganda sheet, Carolina Journal. Normally, it goes straight from my mailbox into the recycling bin. In this case, I paused in mid-toss as I noticed its headline, "Pa. Advocacy Group Behind N.C. CO2 Push". I couldn't resist finding out the identity of the shadowy group which was pulling my strings and those of so many other legislators, conservationists, local officials, and innocent folk around our green state.
Aha! I learned that it's that sinister bunch, the Center for Climate Strategies. As a member myself of the state's Climate Action Plan Advisory Group (CAPAG), I'd been lulled into believing that the CCS folks were simply providing technical information and procedural assistance, and letting us make the decisions. Little did I realize that instead of working on contract for us at the initiative of DENR, the CCS had somehow instead started the whole show. And even now, their clever Machiavellian manipulations were fooling us into thinking that we CAPAGers were telling them what to do. My eyes have been opened.
I even learned that State Sen. Robert Pittenger was a fellow member of CAPAG (quoted as such on the first page of the article), although I've never seen him at a meeting nor seen his name on any of the DENR-provided CAPAG membership lists. No doubt that's another of the clever CCS manipulations.
After reading that article, I flipped through the inside and learned that greenway trails are really a socialist plot to abolish private property rights. I further learned from Chad Adams' "Commentary" to beware of all local govenments, since his opening question is "Why do local governments inevitably move toward socialism?" Indeed, there seems to be no end to the things that I can "learn" from the Lockies, if I can just resist that toss-into-the-bin impulse.

Thanks for the report, Dan.

It really is amazing how much impact the Puppets have had on public policy in NC over the past decade. They've outspent and out-shouted everyone who's moderate . . . and it will take relentless pursuit to push back their influence.

Relentless pursuit. I consider that one of my main jobs.

keep pursuing

If it weren't for the Lockies, there's no telling how many rocks you'd have to turn over in North Carolina before you found someone who was both literate and fool enough to still believe that climate change wasn't happening and isn't a problem.

You're right about

finding someone who is both literate and fool enough. There are plenty of fools though. This particular creature is the main troll at Ed Cone's blog. Sometimes I wonder how people like this live with themselves.

OR Dan, you would only have to read the local

Moore County Newspaper, the Pilot. It seems that at least every other week someone writes a lte telling us how Al Gore and his evil team of scientist are trying to take over the world by scaring us into thinking that such a thing could exist. Oh yea, they run editorials by the Hood too.
