Anger management

I don't know what's gotten into me lately, but I've been more upset than usual. Maybe it's the end of the holly daze, or perhaps all the weirdness with the weather. Or more likely, it's the sobering awareness that George W. Bush has screwed the world up so bad that there is no way back to sanity. Whatever it is, it has me by the throat.

I shouldn't have blown up on Rob Christensen for his column about "liberal Joe" today. I was out of line . People who know him say he's a really nice guy, and he does dig up some good stuff sometimes. I sure as hell couldn't do his job.

I don't know why I get so mad. But it sure does happen a lot. Sorry.

On top of everything else that happens on a daily basis, the rumors of war with Iran have me hiding from the news.

Here's happy news. I almost finished cleaning out my entire attic today.

I also held my tongue with a winger friend of my husband's on the phone. She was telling me how sick it made her that John Edwards delcared in New Orleans - using those poor people for his own benefit....hehehe...I held my tongue, but if I hadn't this is what I would have said.

D, I guess it sucks having one of the biggest failures of your Republican president and Republican Congress rubbed in your face. Deal with it.

Iran.

Totally scary. Wag the dog and worse. The attack on the Iranian consulate in Iraq is a giant problem, in my view, the first visible step down a slippery slope. I wonder if they'll take it to the UN. Imagine what would have happened if a country broke into one of our consulates.

The chimpster would have considered it an act of war

and would have retaliated, which is probably exactly what they are hoping Iran will do so they can then say, Iran declared war on us first. That sorry excuse of a human being who currently holds the office of president is trying to goad Iran into war. Let's just hope Ahmadinejad is more mature than the chimpster in chief.

I've been lurking for this same reason...

One too many rants without call. However, I have put the time to good use. I've got a new project up and running and so far have the support of the Gravel for President and Vilsack for President campaigns. I hope to bring Kucinich, Dodd, and Biden online this week, then convince the rest of the big guns.
