Fugitive methane emissions.

Methane is a somewhere between 52 and 75 times worse greenhouse has than carbon dioxide. It may only have a half-life of seven years, but then it (also) converts to carbon dioxide. There are over a million active oil & gas wells in the United States alone, and every single one of them emits some fugitive methane. Even if the best controls were in place (they're not, and won't be unless something radically changes), the sheer volume of methane from this industry alone would be heating the planet.
