but...but...but...what's more important than FOOTBALL?
What a crock. I honestly think if they do this taxpayers ought to rebel. The dorks here wanted $40 Mil for baseball...and the people got enough signatures on a petition to force it to a ballot. FAIL. Politicians must be drinking sewer water cuz they're crazier than outhouse rats.

of course,,,put a gun to the head of the taxpayers
it's the Republican way. If their ball team isn't making enough to do renovations, maybe it is time to move...to China.
Give a man a fish...
....and he'll be hungry again tomorrow.
Give a multi-millionaire a football stadium, and he'll be back in 10 years demanding a new stadium or else he'll move the team somewhere else.

Looks like Tillis won't try to fleece the whole state
but will likely give the Queen City permission to fleece local taxpayers. Interesting how "home rule taxing power" is a fitting solution for communities that want to placate a bunch of brain-damaged jocks, but not appropriate for communities that want to provide next-generation internet services to their citizens.
