(Not for front page....just sharing)
Most of you will never get a chance to meet my daughters simply because of time and distance. Fortunately, they are willing to campaign with me, having been raised politicking with and for my mother. Some in Charlotte met them this weekend and I hope they'll have time to do more.
After they helped at the event on Saturday, the Kissell campaign asked if they could do this. I think it's sweet.
I feel pretty good that as pre-teens they were willing to help even though Emily is painfully shy and would much rather have been hiding away with a book somewhere.
I remembered something else I've been meaning to tell you. Our dog has a toy that the girls have named "The Republican." It looks like a lambswool gingerbread man and it has a squeaker in it. Well, our dog loves to rip at the seams and she was able to pull it apart and started ripping the fluff out. It was this event that earned the little man the moniker. Do you want to know why? According to my two darling daughters.....It's named The Republican because it has fluff for brains and squeaks at the least little pressure.
