Secret Erik Prince/Blackwater Tape Exposed

Erik 'the Crusader' Prince tried to bar the press from covering his appearance at the DeVos Fieldhouse as the keynote speaker for the recent “Tulip Time Festival” in his hometown of Holland, Michigan. But he failed. The Nation magazine obtained an audio recording of the speech. Stop Outsourcing Security Act

The Stop Outsourcing Security Act would restore the responsibility of the American military to train troops and police, guard convoys, repair weapons, administer military prisons, and perform military intelligence. The bill also would require that all diplomatic security be undertaken by U.S. government personnel. The White House could seek exceptions, but those contracts would be subject to congressional oversight.

Blackwater Employees Paid for Sex with Your Tax Dollars

In 2006, a Blackwater employee charged the federal government for "morale welfare recreation" while he was working in Afghanistan on a salary paid by the American people. What type of "recreation" was this? It was the sexual services of a woman from the Philippines, brought to Afghanistan to service the foreign military and security workers there.

Blackwater added her, and possibly more women in prostitution and stripping, to the payroll, paying for her plane tickets and monthly salary. Correction: you paid for her plane tickets and monthly salary. Do you think sexual services for Blackwater employees was a good use of your tax dollars?

Ethics and Military Contractors: Examining the Public-Private Partnership

"Anyone interested in the problem with Blackwater, and particularly those of you who are interested in the underlying ethical issues should view the talks at this conference hosted by the Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership, United States Naval Academy -- I think we can agree not the bastion of liberal wackos. Finally, we see our military establishment starting to think about this! (Talk by Erik Prince was redacted.)" - Ray Lutz

Activists Serve Blackwater With 'Statement of Foreclosure for Moral Bankruptcy'

Activists march on Blackwater's Illinois facility, saying no matter how many times it changes its name, Blackwater can't hide from its bloody history or its lawlessness.

U.S. Kidnaps Mark Lyttle, Leaves Him Stateless in Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala

Mark Lyttle, 31, born in North Carolina, was exhausted and traumatized, but he insisted on talking tonight. He's also very angry. He'd just been released this morning from the Fulton Jail in Atlanta after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) violated his dignity and liberty one last time and arrested him Wednesday at the Atlanta Airport on the charge of illegal re-entry, a charge predicated on alienage. Mark is a U.S. citizen.

In the language of the DHS Mark was "ordered removed" as a noncitizen on December 9, 2008. That's a bureaucratic euphemism for what really happened: Mark's government kidnapped him, rendered him stateless, dropped him off in Mexico, and four months later, after he was kicked out of Mexico to Honduras, and from Honduras to Guatemala via Nicaragua, bought him a Big Mac before arresting him again in the United States.

April 26, 2009 - Stockton, IL

As it rained heavily here last night I was forced to sleep in the sanctuary with dozens of others, many of whom snored loudly! at breakfast there were many stimulating discussions. my favorite among them explored the complacency of the people for whom the constitution, civil liberties and human rights are not well understood and taken for granted. why corporate capitalism is steeping into the void created by government's laziness and abrogation of role, function and responsibility. the creeping police state. militarism of diplomacy. etc.
