Extreme political hypocrisy is nothing new in elected officials. But for those who are appointed to work on behalf of all citizens, it is an intolerable breach of decorum and propriety.
If Wake County Schools Superintendent General Tata wants to play politics, let Art Pope pay him to run for office. In the meantime, the Wake County School Board should fire his partisan ass.

The Ta-ta story just gets weirder and weirder. As it turns out, his "successes" in his previous tenure are proving to be nothing but a house of cards.
I'm guessing the R's negotiated a sweet deal for him in the event he finds himself out on the street. They do nothing if not take care of their own.
