This year we want BlueNC to be a more valuable resource for people in search of insights and information. One simple way to do that is to operate as a point guard, sharing content smoothly and purposefully.
Right now, we have a short list of North Carolina-focused "Places to Think" under the Right Rail. What sites should be added to that list?
We also want to create a new list of what might be considered "essentials." What sites should be on that list?
This is your chance to help set the agenda.
Pretty please?

No porn
Well, now that I think about it, if we don't visit female domination sites, we won't have a clear view of what we're up against.
Speaking of porn sites
The NC Family Policy Council is in rare form today.

Good site for news honestly presented...
is the Drudge Report. I note that headlines on the Drudge Report do get results and comments from politicians.
Q Notes & Independent Weekly
Though I don't read these sites on a daily basis necessarily, they've each been useful from time to time.

Otherwise, most of my regular sites are already on the list, or someone else has said the site.
Maybe ask the question a different way?

Hootsuite
I monitor several different Twitter streams daily, and Hootsuite allows me to observe different streams simultaneously. #ncga and #ncpol are both hot streams, as far as NC-specific politics are concerned.

I never meant to say that the Conservatives are generally stupid. I meant to say that stupid people are generally Conservative. I believe that is so obviously and universally admitted a principle...

Hullabaloo (Digby) is great
Thanks for the reminder.
Mostly RSS
I actually visit very few sites directly everyday relying on RSS to feed the need - consider a BlueNC feed aggregator link to sites over a 'blog list?
That said, I'd add Salon's Greenwald.
