Sarah Palin Member of Political Party that Hates America - Alaska Independence Party [Video]

Say it Ain't So, Sarah - 101 Lies of Sarah Palin

Lie #1 - Lie of Omission

The Vice Chair of the Alaska Independence Party, a political party whose members believe Alaska should secede from the United States has been caught on tape calling Sarah Palin a member of the AIP. He also claims that she registered Republican simply to get elected. Todd Palin's membership in the group has been documented. Sarah Palin has spoken repeatedly at their conventions. She obviously supports the group, but if what we hear in these tapes is true, Palin has lied about her own membership.

It is only fair to question whether Sarah Palin truly loves America as she claims. She's married to a man who didn't want to be an American until Palin ran for Mayor. That's only a few short years ago.

So, Sarah, what is it? Do you love America? Do you think Alaska should remain a state? Why did you speak at conventions attended by people who hate the United States? It's important that we know these things, especially since the founder of the political party you support was killed in a plastic explosives incident. Was he planning terrorism against the United States, Sarah?

For a woman who palled around with people who hate America, you sure have a lot of nerve.

The full video of the meeting where Palin's membership and subsequent registration as a Republican is discussed follows.

Let 'em go.

The AIP makes a compelling point. The land was basically stolen by the United States Government.

Along with their independence, all of the imperialist white people who have settled there should be expelled.

The "She was an AIP member . . . " quote is at 6:15 into the video.

The fires of hell are frozen glaciers

hekebolos at kos wrote this very clever diary...

Let's say that Jill Biden, Joe Biden's wife, were a longstanding member of a party that advocated Delaware's secession from the United States.

Let's say that this party enlisted the aid of Iran to promote its radical anti-United States agenda.

Let's say that the founding member of this party had this to say about the government and the flag of the United States:

"The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government," Vogler said in the interview, in which he talked extensively about his desire for Alaskan secession, the key goal of the AIP.

"And I won't be buried under their damn flag," Vogler continued in the interview, which also touched on his disappointment with the American judicial system. "I'll be buried in Dawson. And when Alaska is an independent nation they can bring my bones home."

Let's say that Barack Obama's running mate, Joe Biden, attended at least one of this party's conventions, and even addressed the convention in 2006, saying "keep up the good work."

Imagine all of that.

Read the whole diary here.

No matter that patriotism is too often the refuge of scoundrels. Dissent, rebellion, and all-around hell-raising remain the true duty of patriots.

I had read Vogler's quote....amazing isn't it?

They hypocrisy of the right is truly amazing. They are either ignorant of this or truly believe they should be held to a different standard.

Vote Democratic! The ass you save may be your own.

Sorta like ..... don't tell me....

While I appreciate their passion,

I think this points to the supreme lack of judgment on the part of John McCain. He had only met this woman once. There's no way the campaign could have vetted her, or they would have known about the AIP issue.
