i will be giving the following list of businesses a phone call today, informing them that as long as they continue to advertise on wlos, who as of press time are still planning to air the path to 9/11 (and are therefore complicit in abc's decision to play partisan politics with one of america's darkest days), i will be taking my business elsewhere.

this is only a partial list, gleaned from watching about an hour's worth of tivo'd wlos programming this morning; i'll be adding more to it in the coming days. (which means i have to actually sit down and watch more wlos. damn it... i can feel my iq dropping several points just thinking about it)
anyway, if there are any missing from this list, feel free to leave a comment or e-mail me.
i know that this is relatively short notice, and this may seem like i'm lancing windmills here, but sponsor boycotts have proven effective in the past, and it could work again.
also, feel free to call sinclair broadcast group's corporate headquarters @ 410-568-1500 and let them know your feelings. they've pre-empted broadcasts for political reasons before, so at least there's a historical precedent.
i also urge everyone outside of western north carolina and out of wlos' broadcast signal range to contact their local abc affiliates as well as the businesses that sponsor them and do the same.
let's do this!
