Good Morning!

Need a little help from you poli sci guys. I'm looking for primary source material on well, primaries. I've got a debate team that needs to prove that they are contrary to democracy. Any ideas?

Note from Kenya

As some of you know, I have been helping a small touring business in Kenya, run by a man we met there ten years ago named Alex. I occasionally post notes from him. like the one below.

After two months of international mediation to bring peace to our country we have it at last! The team and Kenyans as a whole came to a new era last week Thursday as those concerned signed a peace deal which if implemented will bring change our country have yearned for many years.

The implementation of these will enable many Kenyans have their rights from the village level, it will not only be the few as it has always been, though many are displaced as time goes by people will be able to live again as brothers and sisters and continue with our normal life.

We are still waiting for Parliament to reopen so that this crucial draft may be turned into law, the reopening of Parliament is on Thursday 6th.

Thank you once again,

God bless,

Alex

That is welcome news, James.

I'm so glad to hear it! With the primaries and other election related stuff taking so much of the focus here, I hardly ever "hear" world news, and I have to admit, I don't go looking for it.

I hope that the Parliament will open as planned, and that there will be lasting peace.

Wow, Robert.

It's amazing you get anything done!

Well, if they all said ZERO, that would hint I get nothing done.

The fact that I have several thousand waiting for me, hints that I am not actually reading them. Kind of my "bookshelf"

I really like these web graphics they've made available for use.

"They took all the trees and put them in a tree museum Then they charged the people a dollar 'n a half just to see 'em. Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got till it's gone? They paved paradise and put up a parking lot."
