In April of 1970 my sister ran away

Living in Miami, Fl, we went out looking for her every night and there was plenty of ground to cover. When the picture came out of the girl kneeling over one of the four shot, it was another local run-away from Miami. Not only was the action of the Kent State ROTC shocking, but the whole situation was just too close for comfort. I still get teary-eyed every time I hear the song, "Four Dead in Ohio".

With the new advances in cleaning up old audio tapes, Philip Caputo who was a student at the time, is urging new investigations into the shootings.

No matter that patriotism is too often the refuge of scoundrels. Dissent, rebellion, and all-around hell-raising remain the true duty of patriots.

I have read the Michener book about it though. My uncle actually went there in the mid 80s.
