SANIBEL, Fla. - A former Pennsylvania congressman was accused Wednesday of exposing himself to two women at a beach resort.
Joseph M. McDade, 75, was issued a summons on a charge of exposure of sexual organs, a misdemeanor that carries up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine. A police report was attain and it said that " Mr McDade appear confuse and somewhat amaze that the women claim he didn't have the Republican balls to do it. A spokenperson for the Police department book-in service said that "Mr McDade sexual organs were much smaller than most male 3 year old children during the book-in mug shot process."
The Chairman of the local Republican Party deny that McDade was not involved in the recent former Congressman Foley failed bid to be member of the resort where the alledge exposure took place.
However, he did say that Mr McDade and Mr Foley share the cell phone pager as a security measure when Mr McDade visited the resort.
A court date was not immediately set pending a legal release from the Senior Citizens Home where Mr McDade lives when vacationing in the area. A spokenperson for the Home, said that " Mr McDade was a model senior citizen at the home. He always sat around the Home's Pool and moon the women saying that what he did in Washington as a Congressman telling them to kiss his ass."
Calls to McDade's Fairfax, Va., home and at the Washington lobbying firm where he works were not immediately returned. A voice mail recording said Mr Scooter Libby was away from his desk and would return the calls in a few million years.
McDade, a Republican, served in the House from 1963 to 1999. He did not seek re-election in 1998. He was indicted in 1992 on charges he accepted gifts from defense companies for helping them win lucrative contracts. He was cleared by a jury in 1996 when his lawyers prove that 600 hundred dollars hammers could be bought at Home Depot at a discount.
