From the Neuse River Foundation:
The Spring Clean-up is good for the river and a great way to show your community spirit. Last year over 200 volunteers hauled out more than 19,000 pounds of trash!
How to Participate?
Simply locate a convenient clean-up station listed on our website and join the Riverkeeper on Saturday April 5 from 8am to 2pm (Everyone is welcome!!!)
* Each station has an on-sight Coordinator
* Gloves and trash bags will be provided
* Click here to get Details and Directions to clean-up stations. Dress appropriately for the weather and prepare to get wet and dirty. Get Outside. Work Hard. Have Fun. Make a Difference. And get community service hours for school and club requirements, too. - Leslie H (A parent/guardian must accompany volunteers under the age of 18.)
