we're fine now that we're over the shock. I don't care if she's a teenager. It's not fun to see your child so shaken up and scared. We spent the weekend together watching movies and fixing our favorite soups.

Today I get to deal with collecting the police report. I was allowed to leave rather quickly since I wasn't being cited, so I don't know if the man who hit me was cited or not. I can drive my car, so will take it to be checked out probably tomorrow. I'm not really sure what happened, but the man who hit me claims he was hit from behind by a car and it distracted him. He ran into us (we were stopped at a light) without applying his breaks on HWY 74. He was not speeding which is good since the limit in that particular area is 55 mph. His Lexus looked a bit like an accordion in the front. My Toyota Highlander was not damaged beyond the bumper as far as the untrained eye can tell. We got lucky. Of the four cars involved in the accident, the three of us who stopped were fine and were all reasonable, even-tempered people.
