Supporting Blue Dogs

For the last couple of years, I've been operating under the assumption that Paul Krugman was correct when he said, "Now we’re living in an age of one-letter politics, in which a politician’s partisan affiliation is almost always far more important than his or her personal beliefs."

I'm still not convinced....

Having been dissed by one of BlueNC's moderators for not believing that Rachael Maddow had proven that Rick Warren was a homophobe, I was glad to hear Melissa Etheridge defend Rick Warren on the radio yesterday.

Betsy and I both claim that we "... take Warren's words as he said them instead of reading meaning into them", so I encourage you to at least listen to what Ethiridge says she heard from Warren.

I know I won't change any minds -- this is a political discussion after all - but I'm not backing down either until I see better evidence than Maddow's.
